A Thoroughly Compromised Lady wins 4 stars at Romantic Times

I couldn't be more thrilled. I am proud to announce A Thoroughly Compromised Lady received 4 stars from Romantic Times. Maria Ferrer writes: "From London's ballrooms to the jungles of Venezuela, Scott keeps readers entertained with the antics of two stubborn lovers caught in the middle of a dangerous government operation, complete with terrorizing villain. Both passionate and suspenseful, this novel is a treat." I loved doing this book so much, it is extra wonderful to see it get a great review!http://www.rtbookreviews.com/rt-daily-blog/theme-spotlight-spies

Scandalous Regency Nights Cover!

Looks yummy! Can hardly wait for February to see it in action. It's always so much fun to come out in an anthology with your writing buddies.

October update

Is September over already? It's been busy. I just finished reading the AAs on Beldon and Lilya's story "The Secret Life of a Scandalous Debutante," (doesn't that sound delicious?). It was pretty intense. I decided there wasn't enough action in the early chapters and re-arranged some of the back story information to pick up the pacing and to enhance the layering in later chapters. I really like how it turned out but it was some hard 'thinking' work to make sure it all flowed seamlessly. I've also been enjoying the foreign copies of some recent releases. You can now read the Earl's Forbidden Ward in Norwegian and The Viscount Claims his Bride (depicted above since it is the book preceding Beldon's story in a Secret Life) in French and Czech and Polish. Now, it's back to Merrick St. Magnus, the hottie 1830s hero who kicks off my new series of dark rakes. His book is due Dec. 20th so I'm watching the calendar carefully to stay on top of...

New books for 2011 and a news article!

Whew, it's September and I've got my favorite two weeks of year going on right now. The kids, all three of them, are in school this year. Brony's home at noon but still, the mornings are free for writing for now. My college doesn't go back until the 20th so I'm loving this after a very tough summer of work. Here's what's going on with my writing: 1. Crispin and Aurora (Untamed Rogue Scandalous Mistress) peaked at #19 on Amazon--way to go, and has 5 Amazon stars. 2. I've started the new series featuring my brand new, sexy and somewhat deviant hero Merrick St. Magnus. Look for it in late 2011 (my prediction). 3. Jack and Dulci (A Thoroughly Compromised Lady) will be out in North America in Feb. 2011. It's currently out in Great Britain if you just can't wait. I haven't seen a North American cover yet but it's bound to be super! 4. The Secret Life of a Scandalous Debutante will be out in later 2011. This is Beldon and Lilya's story. I to...

Having a great time at RWA nationals

Hi All, I'm having a busy but fun filled time at RWA in Orlando. Big highlight today was the Harlequin historical authors tea at the Grand Floridian. It was absolutely lovely. Linda, Kim, and Joanne were such gracious hosts. Had a big round of parties tonight starting with the Avalon cocktail party, then on to the Daphne awards to celebrate with a fellow Greyhaus writer, Ann Lethridge who won her category, and then on to the PASIC reception, and the e-harlequin PJ party reception. I've posted some pictures below. Enjoy. Bronwyn

I'm off to RWA tomorrow morning. I am really looking forward to seeing all the Mills and Boon people and enjoying Disneyworld. In the meanwhile, remember a great way to help get the word out about a book you've enjoyed is to post a review. I'd love to see some nice reviews up about Crisipin! If you're in Orlando, come by the Harlequin book signing or the literacy signing on Wednesday night and say HI. Bronwyn

The Earl's Forbidden Ward, going crazy!

The Earl is the first book I've tracked on the Amazon lists. The results are amazing to me! Check out these cool numbers: In book sales: it's 62nd in Romance and has spent 18 days in the top 100 and its 8th in the historical category. I'd be happy with that. After all, the book's only on the shelf a short while. But then check out Kindle: 37th in the all romance category (contemporary, romantic suspense et al, everything.) 8th in Historical (all time periods) and 4th in Regency!!! Way to go Earl!!

Support South Sound Titans Swim Team with Earl's Forbidden Ward give away!

In celebration of the Earl's Forbidden Ward release March 1, I am giving away copies of this second Ramsden Brother book to sponsors of the South Sound Titan Swim Team Annual Swim-a-thon Jan. 24-Feb.14th. Send in a $10.00 minimum flat rate pledge for the swim-a-thon and I'll send you an autographed copy of The Earl's Forbidden Ward. The Titans are a nonprofit private, competitive swim team that is entirely self supporting. The Titans rely on two fundraisers a year to support pool rental and coaching salaries; a dinner-auction gala and the swim-a-thon. The swim-a-thon consists of swimming as many laps as you can in two hours. Rowan can swim 200 lengths and Catie can swim 100+ (which is why I don't recommend pledging by lap but pledging a flat rate fee no matter how far they swim. ) If you choose to take part, do these three things: 1. leave a comment here on the blog so I can set aside a book for you. Let me know how you'd like it autographed and the address to which...

Wicked Earl Undone has new Title in Feb.

I stand corrected, Wicked Earl, Wanton Widow has a new title: The Rebel Returns (I love this, it's the title I submitted with the manuscript). I have a hot gentleman on the cover and he's actually just the way I'd thought Killian Redbourne would look, a city gentleman who's not a sissy-pants or afraid of hard work, but well dressed and a tonsorial delight to look upon. This is the kind of man I like in my real life too! I only have a pdf file so I can't load it here. Alas! But he's hot hot hot.

Notorious Rake, Innocent Lady picked as Valentine Read for Book Club

A fun bit of news: A Lake Tapps book club selected Notorious Rake as their February read. They wanted something sexy for the month of love. That book will fit the bill nicely. I was thrilled to hear it. It's a perfect time to read Notorious Rake if people haven't done so since the older brother's story comes out in North America in March and the older brother features in the February Undone short, Wicked Earl, Wanton Widow.
